Warped Tour 2014!

I ordered my Warped Tour ticket two days ago and I’m stoked! I went last year and had blast but I didn’t get to stay all day like we planned because my boyfriend and dad said I couldn’t handle the heat, but I was sure I could. We left around 5 pm. It was about 107 degrees but not too bad (sarcasm). It was really hot and sunny and did I mention it was in Mesa Arizona on a field with grass everywhere! For the time that we were there I had fun I saw a few bands that I liked and the tried to find shade to cool off. I’ve learned a lot form that day like don’t wear a black shirt in the middle of summer, don’t wear jean shorts to a concert that is all day they’re not comfortable. Don’t wear Toms, they will slip off your feet and can get lost somewhere in the crowd. Drink lots of water no soda or sports drinks, JUST WATER! Take a lot of money because things are expensive. My boyfriend spent six dollars for those small Gatorades, its ridiculous! Don’t wear any jewelry you don’t want to lose because you will lose them. Don’t wear makeup, I mean why would you wear makeup to a concert anyways? You just going to sweat it all off or come out looking like a hot mess (literally). Take a backpack to carry all your belongings because pockets are not your friends. Drawstring back packs are what I would recommend no one can get into them and they’re not that big. Who wants to carry a big bag? Not me. Wear LOTS of sunscreen and some type of hat for those of you who wear glasses. I don’t know about you but I don’t like getting a glasses tan on my face.
The lists of bands that they’ve announced are great! A few that I am going for are Real Friends, Falling in Reverse, Attila, The Story So Far and a whole lot more. I just hope the bands I'm going for don’t all go on stage at once. They have 5 or 6 stages set up so they can get through all the bands in one day. Last year two bands that I liked went on at the same time, luckily the stages were right next to each other so I didn’t miss much. The crowds get pretty big but that’s when they’re the best. You can crowd surf; you start in the back and end up in the front and its fun! Some bands record their sets and you can get yourself into a video they also have photographers who post pictures and videos on social networks its cool.

ear stretching

                 EAR STRETCHING

Today I put my tunnels back in after three days. I got a blow out and it was pretty bad I guess that’s what happens when you want to stretch too fast but it’s ok now. After a few oil rubs and having them naked for a couple days I’m ready to put my jewelry back in. they didn’t downsize too much. The bright side is that I get to wear my cute heart silicone tunnels! They were my favorite and when I had my ears at a 7/8” I couldn’t wear them. The downside of having them is that they’re hard to keep up with well not really but it’s just annoying. You have to clean them and keep them out for a couple minutes just so they will be comfortable. After you get out of the shower you should do a jojoba oil rub for 10- 20 minutes just so you can get the blood flowing through your ear lobes. You don’t wear silicone as a everyday thing, wood is good but you can’t get them wet and you have to clean them daily it’s just hard and expensive. The good plugs and tunnels can cost up to thirty dollars and jojoba oil can cost up to ten dollars. You also have to make sure your lobes don’t get too thin because that’s bad and you can rip your ear and it is expensive to have them sewn back up and if you don’t have the money to sew them back up the you’ll have a dangly ear. Which looks really gross, it’s like you have cow utters. I’ve learned from experience that if you stretch to fast you will ruin your ears. My left ear will not go any bigger than a 5/8” unless I force a bigger size in which is also very painful and can cause my ear to have a big blowout and get really infected and nasty. I try to help those who are starting on their ear stretching so they don’t end up with ear smaller then the other. You should wait one to two months before you try to move up to a bigger size no matter if your ears have healed or not the longer you wait the easier it will be to move up to the next size. And you should never EVER skip sizes! It will cause a blow out or ripped ear and you don’t want that because they are painful and unattractive. That’s all I have to say about ear stretching!
